My Little League Team in Granite Bay, CA

I decided to move to Granite Bay a few years ago and have never regretted the decision. The community is so close knit and the value of ‘family first’ can be seen every evening on the baseball fields throughout the area. This year I was asked to sponsor a Lakeside Little League team and said yes.

My own children are also on leagues learning to play – and the dedication it takes everyone (kids and parents!) is admirable. There are practices, games, volunteer duties, and of course laundry to keep the uniforms clean!

We do all this as parents to help our children become ‘well rounded individuals’ that can ultimately contribute to a team to learn life lessons, at any age. And let’s not forget:  baseball can be fun!

The Lakeside Little League team I am sponsoring is in the AAA league and they are called the Dragons. I will be keeping tabs on them this spring and hope they have a fantastic season!
